eHound has been designed to assist companies that operate through retail networks, and rely heavily on mass media, including print, television, radio and outdoor campaigns. eHound provides these multi-site retailers with the ability to direct prospects to their nearest outlet (or stockist) via their mobile phone using a simple SMS message.
eHound uses Komodo CMS Professional Edition to manage its site and commissioned substantial additional custom web development to assist with production of eHound's service delivery system.
The site was launched in August 2003, further updated in November 2004 and redesigned and re-branded in March 2006.
