Ampersand is a volunteer network developed to promote student volunteering. Ampersand runs a database of volunteering positions aimed at matching not-for-profit organizations with tertiary students interested in volunteering their time and learning from the experience.
Ampersand use Komodo CMS to manage and maintain their site and custom enhancements to manage the volunteer position data.
The site was officially launched on 15 March 2005 at Loop Bar in Melbourne.
