The National Design Archive is being developed to showcase the best of Design in Australia. The site will have five primary areas covering Design Research, Design Practitioners, Design Education, Design Organisations and a pinnacle - History of Design in Australia archive.
The initial site was launched on August 16, 2005 to build project support and house the first tranches of archived material. The development site uses Komodo CMS Professional Edition to manage the site and will come to include significant additional archival functionality.
