The Audit Quality Review Board (AQRB) is a ‘not for profit’ company established within the auditing profession to enhance the quality of audits. The AQRB monitors the quality assurance processes by which participating audit firms seek to ensure their compliance related professional and legal obligations particularly as they affect financial statement audits of publicly listed entities in Australia. While participation is voluntary, the major auditing firms have all agreed to be involved with the AQRB.
The AQRB website, powered by Komodo CMS, was designed by Smart Works design and launched on September 29, 2006.
