The International Harm Reduction Association (IHRA) is the world's leading organization in the promotion of a 'harm reduction approach' to all psychoactive substances. Founded in 1996, IHRA is a not-for-profit NGO, incorporated in the United Kingdom.
IHRA engages in a wide variety of work to promote harm reduction on a global basis, including conferences, advocacy and campaigns, networks, research and communications/media relations.
The IHRA website, powered by Komodo CMS, was designed by Smart Works and launched on December 11, 2006.
