The Office of the Environmental Monitor was established by the Victorian Government in December 2007 as a control requirement for the channel deepening project in the Melbourne Bay.
The Office uses a wide range of information and data to assess the whether or not the Project has followed the rules set out in the Environmental Management Plan. The results are made available to the community via the website, which is a one-stop-shop for all data, information, reports and advice on the Project.
The OEM website is powered by Komodo CMS and designed by Smart Works. The site was launched on February 22, 2008.
